This procedure is normally done with a small canular and incisions are made leaving a small scar around a quarter of an inch in size. It is important to remember that this procedure is not a substitute for weight loss or to combat the affects of cellulite, also in some cases excess skin can form due to poor elasticity. 

This procedure can be done under Local or General Anaesthetic, dependant on the amount of areas needed, which determines the time it will take for the operation.
